A goal sometimes seems so far off and our progress often appears to be so painfully slow that we have a tendency to lose heart.

Have you ever seen a bricklayer starting a new building by putting the first brick in place? You are struck by the size of the job he has ahead of him. Những “lời hay ư đẹp” mà bác Lư đọc được, mà chỉ để cho ḿnh đọc thôi, là … thói ích kỷ mặc dầu đăng vào mục “tự nói dóc”!
V́ thế tôi cảm thấy có bổn phận phải dùng cái trí khôn hạn hẹp cuả ḿnh để cố chuyển dịch sang tiếng mẹ đẻ Việt Nam, cho mọi người cùng đọc.
Tôi dịch cũng là để tặng những bạn đang học tiếng Anh, nên đặt nặng việc dịch từng chữ, theo sát nguyên bản, nên thế nào cũng có chỗ viết không xuôi lắm.
Mong ai giỏi ngôn ngữ, xin sưả chưă cho.
Dưới đây là bản dịch sang tiếng Việt:
Mục tiêu đôi khi có vẻ thật xa vời và tiến bộ cuả chúng ta thường có vẻ như chậm chạp đến đau ḷng khiến chúng ta có khuynh hướng nản chí.
Đôi khi có vẻ như ta sẽ chẳng bao giờ thành đạt cả. Chúng ta tiến gần đến bỏ cuộc – rơi trở lại những thói quen cũ cho là thoải mái đi, nhưng chẳng đi được đến đâu cả. Vâng, có một cách khắc phục rào cản tất yếu đưa đến thành công, và đây là bí quyết: Bất cứ thành quả lớn nào, chẳng qua cũng chỉ là tập hợp những thành quả nhỏ mà ta thực hiện được cho toàn hảo. Cho dù những ǵ tưởng như “không thể được” cũng vẫn thành đạt được nếu kiên tŕ theo đuổi thành công, mỗi ngày một chút.
Có bao giờ bạn thấy một người thợ hồ khởi công một toà nhà mới bằng đặt viên gạch đầu tiên không? Bạn sửng sốt thấy việc quá lớn đang chờ đón anh ta. Nhưng một ngày kia, trước khi bạn nhận ra, th́ anh ta đă làm xong. Tất cả hàng ngàn viên gạch đă được đặt xong, mỗi viên là quan yếu cho công tŕnh hoàn tất, mỗi viên gánh vác một phần chịu tải. Bằng thế nào mà anh ta làm được? Đơn giản thôi, từng viên một. Vậy th́ đeo đuổi thành công và việc lớn th́ cũng vậy.
Đời người gồm những ngày, nối tiếp nhau thành tuần, tháng, rồi năm. Một cuộc đời thành công chẳng qua chỉ là chuỗi ngày thành công ráp nối lại. Vậy th́, mỗi ngày cũng là quan trọng.
Khác chi một viên đá anh thợ hồ đặt, mỗi lần một viên, bạn cũng chỉ sống từng ngày một. Và tuỳ theo những viên đá đặt như thế nào, th́ nó sẽ quyết định vẻ đẹp và sức mạnh cuả toà tháp. Nếu mỗi viên đá đặt cho tốt — cẩn thận và toàn hảo — toà tháp sẽ là thành công. C̣n như, nêú chỉ đặt cẩu thả cho xong, không cần lo tốt xấu, th́ toàn toà tháp sẽ trong hiểm nguy. Đơn giản quá, phải không? Vậy mà bạn biết được bao nhiêu người đấy — chỉ lo “sống cho qua một ngày” thay v́ lo cho “thành quả” cuả mỗi ngày. C̣n bạn đang tập trung vào lối sống nào đây?

Bạn em đang làm nhà nước nghe lời của em bỏ làm và ra mở trường tư, khi bạn em bỏ làm nhà nước ai ai cũng mắng, chồng bạn là một quan chức, bạn em lại là cháu ruột được một quan chức cao cấp ở HÀ NỘI nuôi từ nhỏ cho ăn học thành đạt nên người, đang làm việc ổn định và cuộc sống phong lưu đâu có cần phải vất vả làm ǵ .
Bạn em nghe em bỏ làm và mở ( TRƯỜNG DẠY NGHỀ LÁI XE OTO ) học sinh đông vô kể giàu lên nhanh chóng và lại kinh doanh bất động sản nữa, chỉ có mấy năm mà giầu chóng mặt luôn . Giờ th́ bạn em cứ nói ngày đó nghe cô MAINUONG bỏ làm nhà nước lại hay quá nghĩ lại ngày ấy cả nhà và bạn bè không ai đồng ư cho chị bỏ làm bao nhiêu áp lực, giờ th́ quá vui luôn .
Em th́ lẹc đẹc bao năm nay rồi đôi lúc thấy buồn nhưng lại nghĩ trong nỗi buồn lại có niềm vui giúp cho được nhiều thanh niên có nghề nghiệp và chăm sóc được nhiều cho bất hạnh anh à .

Cháu không có chỉ dạy người ta trở nên lịch sự hoặc thành công. Cháu đơn giản chỉ t́m những người lịch sự hoặc người thành công để làm bạn. Chèn ơi ! Thật là con đường lựa chọn ngắn gọn tuyệt vời! H́,h́,h́…..
Có nhiều người đọc cùng một cuốn sách. Có người đọc xong, tự nói "tôi sẽ thay đổi cuộc đời của tôi cho tốt hơn hoặc thành công hơn". Có người đọc xong, nói : "những thứ này tôi đă biết hết rồi, tốn thời giờ nghiên cứu, chẳng ích lợi ǵ cả". Cũng cùng một cuốn sách, mà tư tưởng hoàn toàn đối nghịch nhau. Thật là kỳ lạ!

Lúc kinh tế đang lên, ai cũng có công ăn việc làm, có nhiều người làm ăn phá sản. Lúc kinh tế đi xuống, ai cũng than van, mất việc, có nhiều người làm ăn tiền vào như nước. Chắc là em cũng như anh thấy rất nhiều trường hợp ở ngoài đời. Thật là kỳ lạ!

Bác Taolao ơi! Em là tài xế xe taxi làm sao có tư cách cố vấn cho ai! Bác muốn làm giầu dễ lắm, tập lười, càng lười càng tốt. Lúc đó bác sẽ vận dụng sự sáng kiến, sự suy nghĩ khiến người khác làm việc cho ḿnh, tiền làm việc cho ḿnh. C̣n bác cứ ung dung dạo phố.
Mainuong1 nói rất đúng đó. Số nghèo trước sau ǵ cũng nghèo. Tại sao không phấn đấu để trở nên giầu. Lúc đầu trắng tay, tại sao không phấn đấu, lao đầu vào làm ăn, nếu thời tới th́ tiền vô như nưoc. Nếu thời không tới, th́ trắng tay như lúc trước. Đâu có mất mát ǵ đâu tại sao không thử thời vận?

GOALS
